The Pain Game Live
The Pain Game is the ultimate live-stream watch-along experience for fight fans, broadcasting directly from inside the venue at the world’s biggest boxing events. Hosted by True Geordie and his crew, the show delivers raw, unfiltered reactions, expert analysis, and no-holds-barred opinions, bringing audiences closer to the action than ever before.
With live shows in Saudi Arabia, Los Angeles, and Wembley Stadium—where 90,000 fans witnessed Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois—The Pain Game has redefined how Gen-Z audiences engage with combat sports. Regularly pulling in over 1 million views per event, the show airs live across YouTube, X (Twitter), and DAZN, as a Picture-in-Picture experience alongside DAZN’s PPV broadcast .
Alex.Live plays a pivotal role in making The Pain Game a success, managing both pre-event coordination and full live production to ensure a seamless, world-class broadcast at every venue.
In the lead-up to each event, we handle all technical planning, working closely with production stakeholders, including broadcasters like DAZN and event production teams, to ensure everything is in place. From advising on equipment needs to aligning broadcast requirements, we oversee the entire setup to guarantee a flawless live experience.
Once on-site, Alex.Live takes full control of the broadcast, gallery, and studio, running a technically complex, multi-camera production with just a three-person crew—Vision Mixer, Technical Manager, and Producer. Despite the challenges of working inside packed arenas, we seamlessly manage 7 cameras, real-time graphics, VT playback, and demanding sound conditions to deliver a high-quality, polished live show.
We eliminate the need for massive production trucks and satellite feeds by using portable fly-away packs, with a compact mini gallery built next to the set for each event. This agile, space-efficient setup, combined with our lean three-person crew, drastically reduces production costs while still delivering a high-quality, multi-camera broadcast from prime locations, whether ringside or inside a corporate hospitality box.
Beyond the live show, we maximize audience reach with our bespoke live clipping tools, extracting key moments in real time and pushing them across social media platforms to amplify engagement. This strategy has helped The Pain Game become a huge hit with Gen-Z audiences, regularly pulling in over 1 million views per event.
